Who We Are

Welcome to Prickly Pear Pups! We are a small, boutique breeder in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona specializing in Toy/Mini sized Multi-Gen Goldendoodles. Our puppies come from a Mini Double Doodle Mama and Toy Goldendoodle Dad, giving them that signature teddy bear look in a smaller, snuggly size.

Often referred by my childhood friends as "Doctor Doolittle," it's no wonder I felt a calling to be more than just a 'Doodle Mom" when I made the decision to breed. Beyond my love for animals, dogs specifically, I wanted to be a part of bringing joy to families by raising not just the most adorable Doodles in the Desert, but the sweetest and most playful ones as well! With three daughters who were ECSTATIC to help, these pups will be going to their forever homes WELL loved and socialized.

We know first hand how important bringing a new puppy into your home and family can be. Socialization in the early weeks of a puppy's life is one of the most critical factors in shaping their lifelong temperament, confidence and behavior. The socialization window for puppies is roughly between 3 and 16 weeks of age. During this period, puppies' brains are like sponges- forming impressions about what's safe, normal and enjoyable. If puppies are gently and positively exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, smells, people and experiences during this window, they grow up to be more confident, adaptable and emotionall stable. If they aren't well socialized, they can become fearful or reactive later- often scared of new people, noises, or environments.
